Willie Nelson released a brand-new album yesterday (June 17), Band of Brothers. But amidst the celebrations, he and his Family were also nursing some wounds, as portions of Nelson’s Texas ranch were damaged last week during a severe storm.
This month, Willie Nelson is set to release a new studio album, Band of Brothers, which consists of mostly new, original songs penned by the country legend himself (see the track list below). Today (June 6), a stream of one of the new songs premiered on Parade.
The University of Texas at Austin will become the home of a major Willie Nelson archive. According to a press release, Nelson has donated a major portion of his collection of correspondence, song manuscripts, records and awards to the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History at the university.
