Next month fans will get a new collection of the country singer’s music, despite life-threatening health issues last year.
Randy Travis continues to show positive signs that he’s recovering from the surgery and life-threatening health issues he suffered last year. This past Saturday, the singer appeared at a Dolly Parton concert in Oklahoma. He even dropped by backstage to visit with Parton. He was joined by fellow 1980s country star Janie Fricke.
“This was Randy’s first time out since his illness,” fellow singer Neal McCoy wrote in a recent Facebook post.
Along some Twitter updates on his condition, a few new photos of Travis surfaced this week, along with a raw but emotional demo of a song he cowrote with Bonnie Paul.
Less than a month after being released from the hospital after suffering heart problems and a stroke, Randy Travis has announced that new music is on the way.
