Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe sat down with Radio.com to talk about their new tribute album “Nashville Outlaws” and the intersection between rock ‘n’ roll and many of today’s country artists.
For Mötley Crüe, the group’s 1985 song “Home Sweet Home” was about life on the road for a major touring rock band.
Rascal Flatts, Florida Georgia Line, Justin Moore and two performers from TV’s “Nashville” are among the artists paying tribute to Motley Crue. “They’re digging deep in our repertoire and doing some cool stuff with it,” Vince Neil told Radio.com.
The band tells Radio.com about their rising single “Carolina” and how the Motley Crue bassist helped steer them in the right direction. “It doesn’t make any sense, but that really is the way it happened.”
