As Hunter Hayes gears up for the release of his sophomore album Storyline on May 6, he’s giving fans a taste of what’s to come with “You Think You Know Somebody”.
“The music from this legend, this unbelievable hero of mine, has changed my life,” Hunter Hayes said of Milsap. “When I was first introduced to his music my whole perception on music changed.”
The Band Perry will kick off the 2014 ACM Awards with a performance of their latest single “Chainsaw.” Also, two Entertainer of the Year nominees artists will pay tribute to Merle Haggard. Who are they? And which fellow Country Hall of Famer will present Haggard with the award?
Lee Brice, Hunter Hayes, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Kellie Pickler, and Keith Urban have also been added to the already impressive bill of the television special, which airs in May. LL Cool J and actor Chris O’Donnell will host.
A brand-new Hayes song “Wild Card” is also now available, along with the album’s lead single “Invisible.”
Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Hunter Hayes, Kacey Musgraves and Darius Rucker at the 56th GRAMMY Awards!
“The GRAMMYs actually heard the song and they stepped up right beside me, saying, ‘Hey, we hear you. We get it. We’re with you.”
Now he’s taking the GRAMMY stage, and the thrill is obviously as fresh as ever.
“‘Crazy’ was just my way of saying, ‘That’s real love. When you feel like you’ve gone crazy. That’s when you’ve actually gotten something right.’”
“There’s something magical about somebody else endorsing your music that way, believing in you like that.”
