Hearing your song on the radio is something many bands dream of, but for Darius Rucker and Hootie & the Blowfish bandmate Dean Felber, this wasn’t exactly the case.
The “Wagon Wheel” singer called out someone who was attempting to spread bigoted stereotypes via Twitter.
“It’s not the twang that makes it country, it’s the lyrics,” Darius Rucker told Radio.com. “Country music for me is being able to tell a story.”
