Aldean headlined two shows at Boston’s Fenway Park this past Friday and Saturday. He not only sold out the shows in minutes, but he wound up breaking attendance records for the venue.
More than 6000 tickets have been sold for the July 22 event, a benefit for families of the 19 firefighters killed while battling the Yarnell Hill wildfire in Arizona last month.
The fan at Swift’s recent Pittsburgh concert also made threats on Facebook and said she’s “in danger.”
“This is a really important thing that I feel strongly about,” Bentley said of the Country Cares Concert, set for July 22 in Prescott Valley, Ariz. Proceeds will benefit families of the 19 firefighters killed in the recent Yarnell Hill wildfire.
Figures are not in yet for how much money Toby Keith’s Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert raised for the United Way, but early reports from his camp indicate that if the nearly daylong show didn’t break records for paid attendance, it sure came close.
“I like to do everything I can for our military,” said Toby, “but I have to say, I’ve never done anything like this before.”
