Billy Currington’s legal battles are piling up. Seven months after he pled no contest in an elder abuse charge, the country singer has been sued by the boat captain in the case.
“We’re going to head on out to an arena tour with a guy named Brett Eldredge and Chase Rice,” Currington told Radio.com. “Brett, what a great singer-songwriter. I hear they get a little crazy too. Three crazies in the room, one night. Should be a lot of fun.”
“It wouldn’t be songs that I would want to be on country radio. If you heard them you’d be like, ‘Oh never country radio. It would never fit.’ It’s way out, over here.”
Billy Currington has entered a plea of no contest in an elder abuse charge that was filed in April.
The songs on his new album “We Are Tonight” were “all instants for me,” Currington told Radio.com. “I would hear them and I’d be like, ‘I have to hear that again and again.'”
It’s been three years since BIlly Currington released an album and this time he wanted to do things differently.
We still haven’t heard one word from Brantley Gilbert or Jana Kramer since they called off their engagement last month.
Country singer Billy Currington will plead not guilty on charges of terroristic threats and elder abuse.
