The Band Perry will kick off the 2014 ACM Awards with a performance of their latest single “Chainsaw.” Also, two Entertainer of the Year nominees artists will pay tribute to Merle Haggard. Who are they? And which fellow Country Hall of Famer will present Haggard with the award?
“It was our first single for our sophomore release, which some say is the most scrutinized piece of music an artist ever puts out,” Kimberly Perry told Radio.com. Now the video for the song has been nominated for an ACM Award.
Nominees Aldean, Bryan, Lambert, Strait, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and the Band Perry will perform live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas during the 49th ACM Awards on April 6.

Haggard, Strait, Underwood, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and The Band Perry are the first artists announced for an “All-Star Salute to the Troops” concert that will air in May on CBS.

The country trio will perform as part of the Super Bowl XLVIII pregame show, which will also feature American Idol winner Phillip Phillips and cast members from two Broadway shows.
