Just when you thought it couldn’t get any bigger, Tree Town Music Festival has added the most-awarded Country group of the past decade, Rascal Flatts!
When it comes to country music, there’s no shortage of amazing songs in 2014.
In honor of their new album “Rewind,” which hits stores May 13, Rascal Flatts is our Impact artist this week. “I feel like we’re going in the right direction,” Joe Don Rooney told Radio.com.
“Payback” is a tongue-in-cheek track that highlights the band’s fun side, as a woman tries to make her boyfriend jealous. “It’s a fun little revenge tune that’s awesome, and I think the girls are going to love that one,” Jay DeMarcus said.
“‘Memphis’ we’re over the moon about,” Jay DeMarcus said. “[It's] by the same guy who wrote “[Bless the] Broken Road,” Marcus Hummon. It’s a big over-the-top ballad.”

Additional performers have been announced for the two-day pre-ACM Awards event in Las Vegas. Rascal Flatts and Keith Urban are the previously announced headliners.
The film “Heaven Is for Real” is based on the best-selling book of the same, which left at least one Flatts bandmember bawling “like a baby.”
The guys in Rascal Flatts remember the time they first heard their debut single ‘Prayin’ for Daylight’ on the radio. It was during a ‘Smash or Trash’ radio call-in feature. So … what was the verdict?
“I was the first one to hear it in a song pitch meeting in Nashville,” Jay DeMarcus told Radio.com. “When I heard it, it just jumped out of the speakers. The chorus was so catchy and hooky.”
