Ronnie Dunn Attacks President Obama’s Speech

By Brian Ives

Yesterday, country singer Ronnie Dunn responded, via his Facebook page, to President Obama’s speech addressing the Orlando massacre.

In his speech, President Obama noted that the shooter was carrying an AR-15-style assault rifle, and that the tragedy is a “further reminder of how easy it is” for shooters to access guns in this country.

He said, “We have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be — and to actively do nothing is a decision as well.”

Dunn took to his Facebook page to comment.

“The worst mass murder in American history attributed to Isis and Obama steps up to the microphone and implies that it will stop if guns are taken away. So, a law is passed and we are ordered to turn our guns in (billions of them)…. I bet criminals and “terrorists” / Jihadists will rush to turn their guns in……now, that’s leadership. UNBELIEVABLE. RD”

It’s worth mentioning here that President Obama has often said that there’s never been any legislature to confiscate guns, and that that belief is “a conspiracy.” He’s noted that, with less than a year left in his term, it’s unlikely that he’s going to introduce any such legislature. “It is a false notion,” he has said. “That I believe is circulated either for political reasons or commercial reasons.”
