George Strait’s Final ‘Cowboy Rides Away’ Show Gets Live Album Release

If you missed out on George Strait‘s final performance this past June in Texas, you’re in luck.

On Sept. 16, King George will release The Cowboy Rides Away: Live from AT&T Stadium album, which will include 20 tracks performed that night.

The live album includes features from Jason Aldean, Ray Benson, Kenny ChesneyEric ChurchSheryl CrowVince GillFaith HillAlan JacksonMiranda Lambert and Martina McBride, as well as Strait’s son, George “Bubba” Strait, Jr.

That’s not all, though. If a CD isn’t enough to quench the thirst King George’s fan base, on Aug. 29 CMT will air a concert special on the country legend. The two-hour special, George Strait: The Cowboy Rides Away, will feature performances from his final show on June 7 in Dallas, Texas, where he broke the previous attendance record set by the Rolling Stones with 104,793 fans in attendance.
