Still so sad about the death of Phillip Seymour Hoffman, one of my favorite actors. About 4 or 5 years ago when I lived in Salt Lake City we started to make it an annual thing to go up to Sundance Film Festival and do touristy stuff. My very first movie was I saw at Sundance was “Jack Goes Boating” a Hoffman movie. He was there, did a Q and A, he was just the nicest guy, funny too. Anyway, his death has a Minnesota connection. One of the suspects charged, Max Rosenblum, 22 went to Hopkins High School through his junior year, he is reportedly a popular DJ in New York City’s rave scene. Just so sad.
There might not be ANYTHING cuter than Channing Tatum gushing over his daughter on Ellen. Ugh. He’s so perfect.
Turns out Aaron Lewis HATES Tyler Farr’s song “Redneck Crazy” and decided to write a “response song” played the same melody just changed the lyrics, there is a video of it but it swears A LOT so I can’t post it but if you search online you can find it.
Some of the lyrics to Aaron Lewis’s rewrite are: “why the hell would you drive through her neighborhood? But if that was your daughters ex out on her lawn, I would shoot the headlights out of his Sliverrado and the best thing to do right now is to get up and go home. Man up, stop being such a baby. “
Tyler Farr has since seen the video
“I think it’s hilarious. If you’ve got enough time to rewrite my song, then go ahead,” he said laughing. “I just hope he doesn’t expect to rewrite the words to one of his songs.”
Tyler also explains he has no problem with Aaron Lewis. Haha “I’ve never peed in his Cherrios,” he says laughing. “God Bless him.”
Well, Taylor Swift opened an entire trunk of worms when she brought up the whole Eric Church getting fired from the Rascal Flatts tour back in 2006. Rascal Flatts have since explained how Eric consistently over played his allotted time during his opening act. Flatts gave him many changes before finally saying good-bye and replacing him with Taylor Swift.
So now that the story has been told and brought back up all of these years later it seems Jay DeMarcus is ready to let it all go once and for all. Jay tweeted Wednesday,
“Wish everyone would let this @ericchurch thing go! We have nothing against him and we’re very proud of what he’s done! It’s ancient history!”
