Which Cities Will Jason Aldean Play on His ‘Burn It Down’ Tour?
Yesterday, Jason Aldean stopped by Good Morning America to announced his Burn It Down Tour, which will see him hit some 50 cities throughout 2014. He said he is partnering on the tour with Major League Baseball and will perform in even more baseball stadiums this time around.
That announcement left fans wondering about the details: Where will he play? And when? Fear not, because later that same day, Aldean then revealed details on which cities the tour would hit.
In a notice posted on his website, Aldean said that the Burn It Down Tour will kick off May 1 in Roanoke, Virginia and continue on to roughly 50 cities (see the full list below). He also said that the baseball stadiums he will play this year include Nationals Park (Washington, D.C.), Citizens Bank Park (Philadelphia, Penn.), PNC Park (Pittsburgh, Penn.) and Great American Ball Park (Cincinnati, Ohio).
Further cities he’s hitting on the tour include include Chicago, St. Louis, Charlotte, Knoxville, Denver, Phoenix, Irvine, San Diego, Detroit, Tampa, Houston, and Dallas (see the full list of tour stops).
“It’s no secret that I grew up dreaming of playing baseball stadiums,” said Aldean in a press statement. “I thought it would be as a first baseman, but playing them as a musician is just as sweet! We’re going to crank this thing up to 11, bring along our buddies Florida Georgia Line and Tyler Farr and put on the biggest and best show we can. My goal is that when the last song is over, and you’re walking back to the parking lot, you’re already on your phone searching to find the next show.”
Further details on specific venues and exact dates for each tour stop will be unveiled in the coming weeks.
