Keith Urban has a lot going on in his life right now. He’s a judge on “American Idol,” a country singer touring to support his latest album Fuse, a family man with a wife and two young kids, and he’s got a new hairstyle.

In a recent Q&A with Yahoo! News Australia, Urban admitted that he’s not “perfect” and it’s a challenge to keep his life balanced. (Many ladies out there may beg to differ.)

When it comes juggling everything, Urban said, “There is no perfect science. I sometimes do a crap job of it and it falls in a big heap and I’ve got to put it back together again. I don’t do anything perfectly, but I love our family and I’m in it. I’m committed to correcting the balance when it goes out of balance. But both of us [Urban and Kidman] just think of ourselves as in a lot of ways just pure working parents who are trying to — hang on a second.”

Urban also explained that his biggest priority is being a dad. After stopping his interview for a moment to talk with his daughter Sunday Rose on the phone, he continued, “For me, so long as I keep family prioritized, my marriage my priority, then everything works. I always put my marriage first, I just do, and everything falls into line after that.”

Even though he’s always busy, he has a lot to look forward to. The new season of “American Idol” premieres on January 15, 2014. He tweeted a video with fun clips from the show.
