Carrie Underwood Faces Animals, Injuries During ‘Sound Of Music’ Rehearsals
The hills are alive with the sounds of Carrie Underwood‘s klutzy nature. The country star is rehearsing to play the lead role in the infamous musical “The Sound of Music” which debuts live on NBC this Thursday December 5 at 8p ET. But it hasn’t been all rainbows and favorite things as she prepares to hit the small screen with this one-night-only live event.
It seems her rehearsals have given her multiple injuries and run-in’s with some not-so-friendly animals.
This morning, she sent a tweet to her followers recounting the never ending string of bad luck.
So yesterday I hit myself in the head with my own guitar & later fell on my face playing leap frog! What do today's rehearsals have for us?—

Thankfully the choreography was adjusted for her safety.
And just when you thought it couldn’t get any weirder, just 30 minutes later she opened up about her run in with a vampire of the night.
Thankfully Ozzy Osborne wasn’t anywhere in sight and the bat was left in tact.
Though the string of bad luck seemed to be an ominous look for the week ahead, Underwood is heading into the big night with the most important blessing of all. ”I had the best time of my life doing it, and it did wonderful things for me,” Julie Andrews commented to Zap2it. “I think it’s great that it’s being done again, but doing it live must be so daunting for Carrie.”
But her approval didn’t stop there as the famous actress continued her fawning, ”I do hope it works for Carrie, because she’s lovely and I’m a fan. I wish her well.”
“The Sound of Music Live” will air Thursday night (Dec. 5) live on NBC.
