Luke Bryan is one lucky barbecuer.
Luke took part in Dierks Bentley’s 8th annual Miles and Music For Kids show in Nashville and revealed how after Halloween he nearly cut his thumb off.
“Did ya’ll do Halloween Thursday or Friday?” He asked the crowd who cheered to indicate they celebrated Halloween on Thursday. “Ya’ll got out there in the wind. Our neighborhood did it on Friday and I was making some ribs and I almost cut my thumb off,” he said, holding up his bandaged hand.
“It’s fun doing this with stitches. You always want to cut your thumb off on CMA week.”
Let’s hope Luke has lots of pain medications to help him get through the week. He’s scheduled to peform twice on Wednesday, first in the morning for Good Morning America’s live ABC broadcast from downtown Nashville and then will open the 47th Annual CMA Awards that evening.
