Jason Aldean was wrapping up his Night Train Tour and headed on vacation early Monday morning (October 28) when a man stepped in front of his bus and died. Aldean took to Twitter and Facebook to send prayers to the family who lost Albert Kennedy.

“With a heavy heart, I’m sad to say that a man passed away last night after stepping out in front of my bus in Indiana. In all the years I’ve been touring and all the miles we’ve driven, nothing prepares you for something like this to happen. I’m praying for Albert Kennedy’s family and friends today and ask that you do the same,” Adean wrote.

According to reports, at 1:28 a.m. Kennedy walked out into the middle of the roadway and was struck by Aldean’s bus. The bus was headed northbound on US 41 North in Knox County, Ind. An investigation behind the accident is currently underway.
