After numerous hints that a second Oklahoma tornado benefit concert was in the works, the news is finally out. Toby Keith has announced that Garth BrooksRonnie Dunn,Trisha Yearwood, and Willie Nelson will join him next month for what he’s calling the Oklahoma Twister Relief Concert.

The event will take place July 6 at the Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. Proceeds will benefit The United Way Of Central Oklahoma May Tornado Relief Fund.

Keith’s benefit concert follows Blake Shelton’s Healing in the Heartland, a similar benefit concert held May 29 that featured Miranda Lambert, Reba, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan, Rascal Flatts, Ryan Tedder, Usher, and Darius Rucker. Healing in the Heartland raised more than $6 million.

Keith’s Twister Relief Concert is aimed at helping victims of the devastating May 20 tornado in Moore, Oklahoma, that took 24 lives and left many more homeless. Keith grew up in Moore, and still has family and a house there.

“I grew up in Moore, I live in Norman and I’ve got lots of family and friends who were directly affected,” Keith said in a press statement. “I know these folks and they’re resilient, but we’re going to keep helping them any way we can. I’m proud to get together with some others from around here who are just as committed as I am to supporting these communities.”

Brooks echoed those sentiments in a statement of his own. “Once we got the news that the tornado had hit Toby’s hometown, Miss Yearwood [Brooks' wife] and I told Toby we were at his service for whatever he chose to do,” Brooks said. “I am amazed at the human spirit the tornado victims have shown. I am humbled by the giving of the volunteers. It is an honor to get to be a part of this healing process.”

Updates on the July 6 event and the lineup will be posted on Toby’s website.
