I went out to Woodbury yesterday and met Scout! Super sweet and all about the CUDDLE!
Scout is a 14-year old female grey tabby who came to the Animal Humane Society in late April. Her previous owners state that she is incredibly friendly and love attention. However, between some housing changes and a new baby, Scout’s household became a little stressful for her and her owners were unable to give her the attention they felt she deserves. They felt it was best for Scout to give her a chance at a new home and a new family.
Because of recent stresses in her life, Scout had an accident or two on the rug. The timing of her accidents coincided with the addition of the new baby. Since coming to the shelter Scout has exhibited perfect litterbox habits, and it is likely that her accidents were stress related and are not likely to recur in a new home and a new environment.
Scout has had a senior exam and appears to be in perfect health. She is spayed and is incredibly friendly in the shelter just as she was in her previous home, and is a staff favorite. Please help this wonderful girl “scout” out a new family where she can enjoy her golden years snuggling, giving her love, and being loved in return.
