A lot of professional athletes get beat up over the millions of dollars they make playing a kids game … but in this video Matt Kemp of the LA Dodgers uses his status as a good thing for a fan.
Kemp doesn’t even know this is being filmed, but he hears from a Dodger coach that 19 year old Joshua Jones has terminal brain cancer and has been fighting it for three years. He comes over and gives him an autographed ball, his cleats and the jersey OFF HIS BACK!!
The sad part of the story for me as I’m writing this… 74 people had given it thumbs down on YouTube. (boo!)
Thanks for inspiring us to do something nice for someone else today, Matt!
