Carrie Underwood and her husband are so freaking cute. She covers People magazine and I LOVE this quote from her. I’m the same way to an extent if it were needed to make the relationship work.
I love that it’s all about keeping the promises they vowed to each other when they said “I do.”
“If Mike ever told me he needed me to quit, I’d quit,” she says. “When you make that promise to somebody, and you stand before God and your family and friends, you’ve got to do everything that you possibly can to make that work.”
I love her old school way of thinking, divorce is so common now. I want an old school marriage too. A promise is a promise.
Carrie performed on Idol last night, she was amazing as always. I wonder how much longer that show is going to last they have the lowest ratings they have EVER had during all 11 season. I’m not watching. I’m not into it anymore at all. I AM however into The Voice! If Blake and Adam ever leave the show, I honestly don’t think it would be as awesome as it is. Those two make that entire show so funny! I will say that Usher and Shakira have been great additions, they are hilarious! The Voice is a show the judges DO make all the difference. Nicki Minaj is annoying, Keith loves everybody, Randy has taken on the mean guy role but he’s not really mean, and Mariah is boring.
In Other News…
Amanda Bynes has gone and lost her damn mind. I really did love her in “She’s the Man” and “Sydney White” She’s in New York taking weird pictures of herself and twitter @amandaybynes ranting. It’s strange. She allegedly walked out without paying for a blow out and took a bottle of hairspray with her, coloring her hair random colors and wearing outrageous outfits. It reminds me of Britney Spears breakdown mode. I hope she ends up ok.
Paris Jackson has been spending a lot of time with her birth mother Debbie Rowe, she is also the birth mother to Prince Jackson. Debbie and Michael Jackson did marry but when they divorced Debbie signed over parental rights when Paris was 3. I hope she is a good stable person in Paris’s life, can’t imagine the circus those kids live in.
Blake Shelton is opening the ACMs with his very first performance of Boys Round Here! Luke Bryan, Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow, and Pistol Annies will join him! P.S. I’ll be live tweeting. If you have a twitter, lets tweet the ACMs together! @TJradioo
