Words cannot express the sadness we’re feeling here at the radio station after hearing the terrible news that our friend, and colleague from the Cabooze, Jason Aukes has passed away. He truly was one of the best in the business and his style and personality will surely be missed by all. It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we share with you that The After Midnight Group has lost a great friend, colleague, and more importantly a family member. Jason Aukes passed away yesterday, Mar. 14, 2013 at his home. With his infectious humor and contagious smile he had an overwhelming ability to make everyone feel welcome, including bands, staff, and customers. His presence as a manager, a talent buyer, a friend and overall great person will be missed by many.
