ACM Award nominee Miranda Lambert goes off the deep end in her new music video. Of course, that’s exactly what we expect her to do, because her latest single, “Mama’s Broken Heart,” is all about going crazy in the wake of a breakup.

The song was written by Kacey Musgraves, and it tells the story of all the things you do too much to get through the pain of heartbreak. Pills, booze, smoking in the bathtub, gleefully eyeing a kitchen knife, giving herself a new haircut–the action happens in rapid cuts as Miranda dabbles in all those things.

Acting out behind the closed doors of her character’s glitzy mansion, Miranda is also completely solo in the video. And she puts on a solid performance, going from Stepford Wife to an angry, crying drunk, and stopping at all points in-between.

“Mama’s Broken Heart” is the fourth single off Miranda’s album, Four The Record.

Miranda Lambert is nominated for five Academy of Country Music awards this year, including Entertainer of the Year.
