Life on a Rock just got a little more colorful. That’s because Kenny Chesney has unveiled the cover image for his upcoming album, which is due April 30.

Posted on his website, the album cover is a collage of fun, summer-centric images – Kenny calls them “snapshots” – including Kenny on the beach, a No Shoes Nation flag, a rooster (um…?) and a woman’s silhouette.

Kenny posted the cover on his website along with a statement about the upcoming album and tour:

“Life. You’ve shared so much of yours with me and my music, and I can’t wait to get the next record out to you. It’s snapshots of places I’ve been, people I’ve loved and moments I wish I could bottle up. Kind of like the album cover… literally, pictures from my life.”

Life On A Rock, he writes, ”looks at where I’ve been, what I’ve learned and hopefully how we grow. I can’t share the music for a bit, but here’s the cover. It’s a lot like this record actually sounds!”

Life on a Rock hits stores April 30, and the single “Pirate Flag” is currently storming the charts. Kenny Chesney’s No Shoes Nation Tour kicks off in March, and artist supporting him at various dates along the way include Eric Church, Zac Brown Band, Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgraves.
