Ever since hearing Florida Georgia Line for the first time I’ve been hooked. Turns out Jake Owen is a big fan of Tyler and Brian as well. Get this, according to an interview on Music News Nashville, before the duo were even signed to a record deal, Jake Owen once gave Brian a McPherson guitar when he was in need of one. According to Brian, the guitar was one of Jake’s favorites, but he never thought twice about giving it to him. “It just shows what kind of guy he is,” says Brian. “He’s the most giving person. He’s been kind of like a mentor, not only musically but just in life in general. He’s played a huge role in our career and lives for sure.”

Since we’re on the topic of Florida Georgia Line, have you seen their new video for “Get Your Shine On” yet? It looked like they had a blast recording it on the white sandy beaches of Cancun, Mexico. It also features scenes from the Hard Rock Hotel Cancun property — of course a place I would love to visit someday! By the way, Florida Georgia Line will be playing again at Myth in Maplewood on April 11th. It is sold out, but you know BUZ’N will be hooking you up with the most FREE tickets!
