Frank Ocean literally ran though a performance of “Forrest Gump” for his debut GRAMMY set.

Ocean performed in front of a screen that broadcast a video of his legs running throughout a barron land, much like the character for which the song was named. Meanwhile, he stood at a podium and allowed the illusion to work its magic.

The song speaks to his love with a man whom he cannot get out of his head. It’s a theme of sexuality he famously highlighted in a Tumblr post.

“I think I’ma wear a yellow tux to the GRAMMY,” he sang on a song by Mellowhype, the Odd Future spinoff which features Hodgy Beats and Left Brain.

On GRAMMY night, Ocean fulfilled his promise, sporting a pale yellow tuxedo for his performance, as his Odd Future family looked on from the audience.

Ocean was nominated for six GRAMMY awards and won two (Best Urban Contemporary, Best Rap/Sung Collaboration).

“They say the best way to disarm an audience is to imagine them naked,” he said when he accepted the Award for Best Urban Contemporary Album. “I want to look at you all as kids in tuxedos, being fancy and stuff like that.”
