TJ’S Trash: Awards Season, Mindy’s Loss, Keith’s Gift and More!
If Tina Fey and Amy Poehler could host everything from this point on the awards shows would be freaking HILARIOUS. Those two had me dying on the Golden Globes! So funny. I did not see Taylor Swift for the rest of the evening after Tina told her to take some “me time.” Ha!
It’s way more fun to have seen the movies nominated and I’ve seen Argo, Silver Lining Playbook, and Django Unchained. All 3 movies I absolutely loved so I recommend seeing them if you can!
P.S. all that drama of Jennifer Lawrence saying “I beat Meryl” come from one of my favorite movies, First Wives Club! I thought it was super cute! I would have said the same thing, I mean how can you not when that opportunity presents itself?!
In other news:
*Tim McGraw is on the cover of Billboard he looks great!
*Britney Spears and her boyfriend broke up. I hate that. I mean, I’m just rooting for Brit Brit. She lost her mind when her and Justin Timberlake broke up and I don’t think she ever fully recovered from that. I’d like to see her confident and happy again. She quit X-Factor too. Rumor has it that she is going to Vegas and will do some shows there like Garth and Tim/Faith.
*Keith Urban was on Ellen and talked about his Golden Globe nom, sang a bit of the song For You and Ellen gave him a funny gift for the upcoming American Idol and he looks soooooo hot in it!
AND! How cute is this picture of him with his daughters?!
* Sad News, The father of Mindy McCready’s children, David Wilson committed suicide Sunday night. He was 34.
Mindy released a gut wrenching statement
“Today, we mourn the loss of my life partner and my children’s father, David Wilson. David was my soulmate; he was a caregiver and guiding hand to our sons, Zander and Zayne. He was a precious gift from God to all of us and, yesterday, he returned home and is now with his mother and father. David loved and he was loved. Those who knew and loved him will miss him; those who did not know David missed the opportunity to know a truly loving and gifted man.”
