A Superbowl Commercial Costs How Much This Year?

Reporting Kris Valentine

Almost $8 Million Dollars?!?! Advertisers are reportedly paying about $3.7 to $3.8 million for a 30 second spot during this years big game! Apparently that’s a drop in the bucket since CBS has officially SOLD OUT of air time for Super Bowl 47.

It looks like Sketchers, Toyota, Pepsi, Chrysler, and Taco Bell are a few of the advertisers who have already booked time. Some of the celebrities on the ad roster this year include Psy (Why?), Kate Upton (Yes!), Usher, Danica Patrick and Kaley Cuoco from “The Big Bang Theory.”

The game itself has broken ratings records for the past 3 years, so they obviously can get away with charging more. This year’s game will be held on Sunday, February 3rd on CBS.

What’s your favorite Super Bowl Commercial of all time? Odds are it might be in this video, which has the top 25 ever! Oh, and by the time you’re done watching, advertisers would have spent more than $114 million dollars! Enjoy!
