Brett Eldredge Shares His Christmas Tradition
“I’d say one of my favorite holiday songs definitely is ‘O Holy Night.’ Every holiday I go up in the choir loft at my church and sing ‘O Holy Night’ a cappella,” he tells CBS Local. “The same spot every year, and it always flies by, and I get to the next Christmas and I’m like, ‘Wow, I’ve been doing this for 10 years at my church!’”
While he sang it last year, he’s hoping his busy schedule allows him some time to sing it once again this Christmas.
“My whole family would kill me if I didn’t do it. Every year they’re always like, ‘You gotta go up there and sing!’ So I still do it. I love that tradition of singing ‘O Holy Night.’”
Brett confessed there are a few other songs that top his list for favorite holiday songs and one especially hits close to home.
“I love ‘Silent Night.’ It’s a beautiful song,” he says. “And ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside.’ I love that song, it’s awesome. I’m from Illinois, so it is very cold there, so I always love that song.”
