Miranda Lambert’s ‘Pink Pistol’ Shop Takes Over Personal Life
When Miranda Lambert opened her Pink Pistol shop this past November 23, in her hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, most country folks expected it to be a hit. But Miranda wasn’t as ready as she thought for the big change.
It’s only been a few weeks, but juggling a singing career full of tours and running a shop full of pink, Miranda realized she had to cut some of her hobbies to divvy out her time.
“I went hog hunting once [this season] and got a hog with my bow,” reveals Miranda to Country Weekly. “I haven’t had time. I’m in pink land now. Blake’s like, ‘Really? You’re just going to be in pink glitter and no more hunting with me anymore?’ I’m like, ‘I’ll go a couple times.'”
For Blake, it’s a disappointment to lose his hunting partner to “pink glitter,” but Miranda knows it’s worth it in the long run, since she loves her shop and all the creativity it brings.
“It’s a blast! I’m having so much fun,” says Miranda. “I’ve been there every single day that I’ve been home. I’ve never worked so hard in my life. I need to go on tour so I don’t have to work so hard. I have so much fun with it: talking with people, making sodas and sundaes, putting out merchandise and cleaning up boxes.”

“Songwriting was my hobby before, now it’s a full-time job, and I figure everybody needs a hobby and a creative outlet, so I’ve found one.”
