Tonight’s GRAMMY Nominations Concert Places Country Music At Center Stage

Country fans have plenty of good reasons to tune into the GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! tonight — and those reasons include Luke BryanDierks BentleyThe Band PerryHunter HayesLittle Big TownChris YoungJohnny Cash, and Taylor Swift.

Those artists are among the many who were either presenting or performing during tonight’s live television event (airing 10pm ET/9pm CT on CBS). Taylor is actually cohosting the show, alongside hip-hop legend LL Cool J.

Oh, and Johnny Cash isn’t actually appearing, in case you were wondering–but he is getting paid tribute in a performance by The Band Perry and Dierks.

In addition to the above country artists, tonight’s program also includes performances by Bon Jovi, Maroon 5, Ne-Yo, and The Who. Sheryl Crow and the Lumineers were also recently announced as presenters.

And don’t forget the main event — the purpose of the show is to announce nominations in key categories for the 55th GRAMMY Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles on Feb. 10, 2013.

This is the fifth year the GRAMMY nominations have been announced live on a primetime TV special — and the first time that special has been held in Nashville.

Tune into the the GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! tonight (Wed., Dec. 5) at 10pm ET/9pm CT on CBS.
