I heart road trips and football, so as you can imagine I stay busy in the fall. Yesterday my fiance and I road-tripped to the Green Bay Packers opener. We literally hopped in the car at 8 a.m. and drove to Lambeau. We watched the game, had our hearts broken, ate a Kroll’s West butter burger and drove back to Minnesota. That is dedication right?!?!
The drive home was tough. I drank a ton of coffee and ate an entire bag of Corn Nuts (the crunchiness helps keep me awake). At midnight we pulled into Minneapolis and at 4am my alarm went off. OUCH! Tired is an understatement for how I feel today. Despite that, and the loss, I will always have the memory of the trip and, for me, that’s what life is all about.
