Watch out, Blake Shelton, there’s another country artist who will be battling for attention among the Christmas CD store displays this year.

Scotty McCreery has announced that he will be releasing a holiday album this fall. Titled Christmas with Scotty McCreery, the album is scheduled hit stores on Oct. 16. (Blake Shelton’s album, Cheers It’s Christmas, will be in the racks on Oct. 2.)

The former American Idol‘s album will include renditions of holiday classics such as “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “The First Noel,” “Winter Wonderland,” “O Holy Night,” and “Let It Snow.”

The 11-song Christmas with Scotty McCreery album will also feature two brand new holiday songs, “Christmas in Heaven” and “Christmas Is Coming Around.”

Also, if you pre-order the album from Scotty’s website, not only are you eligible for special pricing but you also will receive a booklet signed by Scotty, a thank-you video message, a chance at a personal phone call, and a chance to win a trip to see Scotty on tour.
