Zac Brown Band‘s third studio album, Uncaged has made it’s way to the top of the Billboard chart this week.

Not only is it the number one album on Billboard’s Country Albums chart but Uncaged beat out the likes of Chris Brown, Justin Bieber and Maroon 5 for the number one spot on the Billboard Top 200.

The first single, “The Wind,” is also currently climbing the Hot Country chart, sitting at number 16 just behind Little Big Town‘s “Pontoon.”

And if you haven’t seen the animated video for “The Wind”directed by Mike Judge of King of the Hill and Beavis and Butthead fame, you’re missing out! Mike puts his own spin on “barn burning” to say the least. Watch it here!

This week, Zac Brown Band took to their website to specifically thank their fans for the success of Uncaged in which they also admit that this album is “everything that we are.”

In his blog, Clay Cook (guitar, organ, mandolin, pedal steel and vocals) goes on to say, “We’d like to thank YOU [the fans] for going out (or not going out and clicking away from your computers) and purchasing said record. This was easily the biggest week in ZBB album sales ever… and we thank YOU for that.”

In it’s first week of release, ‘Uncaged’ has already sold a whooping 234,000 copies.

“A little bit of happy, a little bit of inspiration, a little bit of groove – you might even want to make a baby in the middle of the record.” All true statements about the album from Zac himself.

If you haven’t already, you can go out and get your copy of ‘Uncaged’ now or not (as Clay says) and just click here to get your copy from iTunes.
