Not many guys would admit they’re “hot,” even if they are. But most would stop right there because, secretly, they still would like to think they are.
But Jason Aldean isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. In a recent interview with morning show hosts Pat and Tom from Sacramento, Calif. radio station KNCI, Aldean comes clean on the reason women today might find him attractive.
“Are you aware that a lot of women think you’re hot?” Pat and Tom ask, point blank.
The question at first gives Jason some pause. “Um,” he says, “I don’t know. Am I supposed to be aware of that?”
But, unafraid, he jumps right in. “Here’s my question for that,” he goes on. “I think people think musicians or actors are hot because of what they do.”
“If I was walking through the mall eight years ago,” he says by way of example, “and had on shorts, flip-flops and a T-shirt, I’m pretty sure nobody would care. So I have to believe that the fact that I’m a singer has got a little bit to do with that.”
“That’s a pretty good perspective,” Pat and Tom answer. “But take it and run with it, right?”
“I’ll take what I can get,” Jason laughs. “Trust me!”
Aldean also talks about his baseball skills (he was recruited by several D-1 colleges out of high school) and playing the Stagecoach music festival in California (he played it as a new act in 2007, and this year was a headliner).
