A soon-to-be-booming country artist named Katie Armiger stopped by BUZ’N this week. Armiger is from Sugar Land, Texas. She released three albums and has four singles that have been on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Her first album was released in August 2007.
While visiting BUZ’N she performed “Kiss Me Now,” “Worth It,” “The Man I Thought You Were,” and “Scream.”
Armiger said, “I re-released my album in September and I put a few new songs that I’ve written on there as well as some music videos. And we made it this deluxe confessional because it’s called ‘Confessions of a Nice Girl.’”
“Scream” is her latest single and she told the BUZ’N crowd a little bit about the meaning behind the song.
“I’ve been working on a new album recently and (I’ve) been writing quite a bit for it and been in the studio as well. We just reached the half-way point I would say, and I am going to test one of the songs that’s my favorite off the album on you guys. This is my last single and I wrote it with Sarah Buxton and Blair Daly and everybody kind of has one of those days where everything becomes too much and you just have to let it out.”
