Tonight Kellie Pickler returns to the stage that started it all. The season 5 American Idol alum will perform “Where’s Tammy Wynette” from her latest album, 100 Proof.

A lot has changed since Kellie was on the show back in 2005.

Randy Jackson remains as the only original judge from her season. Simon Cowell is now a judge on American Idol competitor, X-factor, and Paula Abdul is… well, we’re not sure what she’s doing now.

Since the Idol’s debut back in 2001, we’ve had some pretty successful country music stars come out of the show along with Kellie — Carrie Underwood, Scotty McCreery, Lauren Alaina and even Kelly Clarkson, who has recently gone country!

If you remember correctly, Taylor Hicks took home the title in season 5 with Kellie coming in sixth place that year. Hard to believe since she is actually among one of the most successful Idol’s in the show’s history! According to Billboard.com, she’s the #14 ranked American Idol alum with over 1.3 mil in album sales.
