Get The Music, Beer And Tents Together – MN’s New State Park Reservation System Is Ready To Go!

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources announced that the roll-out of their state park reservation system is complete.  Reservations are now available for up to a year in advance for camping and lodging.  Already more than 8,500 reservations have been made online and through telephone.

The new online reservation system features: availability calendars for sites at a park for three weeks at a time, campground maps, photos of campsites, and advanced search abilities.

You can visit the new reservation system at mndnr.gov/reservations or you can call 866-857-2757 (TTY 952-936-4008).  Approximately up to 30 percent of campsites at Minnesota state parks can’t be reserved in advance and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
