Texas honky-tonker Pat Green just debuted his new video over at The Boot, and it’s a rocked out cover of “All Just To Get To You,” a song written by fellow Texans Joe Ely and Will Sexton. It appeared on Ely’s 1995 album Letter From Laredo.

Green released the song last fall on iTunes (if you like it, get yourself a copy), and it’s slated to appear on his upcoming album, Songs We Wished We’d Written II (due May 8 on Sugar Hill Records). The video is brand new, though, and includes a bunch of live footage of the three-time GRAMMY nominee and veteran honky tonker (who also happens to have sold a couple million albums).

Watch the video for “All Just To Get To You”:

Hear an interview with Green’s friend and collaborator Cory Morrow about Green and the album–and listen to Morrow play two songs live in the studio of our friends in Houston.
