When [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Tim McGraw[/lastfm] went into court on Tuesday to finally cut ties with Curb Records, he was told that he could record music with any label he wanted to. And without missing a beat, as soon as the judge gave him the news, a Tim released a new single!
Nashville judge ruled that Tim may record for any company he chooses, whenever he wishes. Curb is still fighting for damages regarding the number of albums Tim has delivered under the current contract. But even though the judge gave him this news, Curb is still fighting for damages, and the court battle may go through June of next year. With that on everyone’s mind, Tim wanted to change everything up. He released a new single off the Emotional Traffic album, which is due in stores on January 17, 2012. It’s called “Better Than I Used To Be.”
